Veneers

Dental veneers are very thin shells that cover the front surface of your teeth. They are used in order to improve the appearance of your smile for a variety of reasons, including:

  • Teeth that are chipped or broken
  • Teeth that have been worn down
  • Gaps in your teeth
  • Discolored teeth
  • Teeth that are uneven or irregularly shaped

Receiving your veneers will take three appointments- one consultation, one visit to create a mold and the last to apply the veneers.

What Will Happen During My Procedure?

At the first visit you’ll discuss the results that you’d like to have. Dr. Nathan Cejka will examine your teeth to ensure that you’re an ideal candidate for veneers. At the second visit, around ½ millimeter of enamel will be removed from the surface of the teeth and an impression will be made of your mouth. This mold will be sent to a dental lab, which will then construct the veneers. A week or two later, at your third and last visit, your teeth will be cleaned and polished and then the veneers will be placed on your teeth and cemented down.

Depending on the case, we may also be able to digitally design and mill these veneers for same day placement.
